Chris Brown Announces 2026 US Tour After Five-Year Hiatus...

Chris Brown has announced his first major U.S. tour in five years, sending fans into a frenzy. The R&B star revealed the 25-city "Under the Influence Tour" on Instagram late Thursday, with dates kicking off July 15 in Los Angeles.

The tour announcement comes as Brown's latest single "Sensational" tops Billboard's R&B charts. Ticket presales begin April 18 through Ticketmaster, with general sales starting April 21. Major stops include New York's Madison Square Garden (August 2), Chicago's United Center (July 28), and Atlanta's State Farm Arena (August 12).

Brown last toured North America in 2021 before canceling shows due to pandemic restrictions. The 36-year-old artist has since released two albums, including 2023's "11:11" which debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200. Industry analysts predict the tour could gross over $50 million based on current demand.

Fans flooded social media with reactions, with Brown's tour announcement tweet garnering over 250,000 likes in six hours. Some critics have questioned the timing given Brown's controversial history, but venues report strong early interest. The tour wraps September 10 in Miami.

Live Nation confirmed additional dates may be added if initial shows sell out. Brown's team promises "next-level production" with special guests to be announced. The tour marks Brown's return to large-scale performances after focusing on international festivals and Las Vegas residencies in recent years.
